Flatware with a Fun Twist

I was recently approached by a new-to-me brand that mostly carries flatware. I get approached pretty regularly by brands but it only makes sense to me to collaborate when it is something I am really interested in and that it is worth sharing with folks. This flatware intrigued me from the minute I took a look at it. It is colorful and unique, good quality and an even better price point - a trifecta! The brand is called ANNOVA and they are a California based brand that specializes in designing vibrant, durable flatware for kids and adults alike.
Besides designing adorable products, the brand is committed to supporting the autistic community and has designed products that are sensory-friendly which is also something that is deeply and personally meaningful to me so I loved the added feel-good mission that the brand represents.
Additionally - and in the vein of full transparency - we needed new silverware in our house. Several of our forks had bent over the years, my children have thrown more than one fork and spoon away as we tried to teach them to throw things away and then put their dishes in the sink and so we were missing several pieces. My husband had been complaining about it for a while but it just wasn't high on my priority list. So, when the folks at ANNOVA reached out to me to collaborate, I took it as a sign! We have been using the silverware since it arrived a couple of weeks ago and everyone in the family loves it! It looks cute, is durable, and feels good to hold and use.
I love color and I love to set a table. I typically have to rely on linens, dishware and flowers to create my tablescapes but this flatware is the perfect fun accessory to any tablescape. It is perfect for every day use for families and kids but I love that it elevates and adds such a playful element to a tablescape. I can envision having sets of it for birthday parties, showers, dinner parties - you name it and at such a reasonable price point, you aren't breaking the bank to get the look.
I set a table using their colorful flatware and thought I'd share some inspo for you in case you are hosting an event soon or just like me and are in need of some new flatware to refresh your old set. A quick trip to the Farmer's Market over the weekend yielded some happy flowers and some super fresh strawberries that my kids and I have been popping like candy. To up the aroma of the bouquet, I added in some fresh herbs that smell divine. I mixed in some every day plates as chargers with some fun patterned plates, a block print tablecloth, my grandmother's vintage glassware, vintage milkglass salt and pepper shakers that were a birthday gift from a dear friend and of course my new, adorable and colorful ANNOVA flatware.

The folks at ANNOVA were super generous and they gave me a few different sets to try out and so I also took one of the other sets and traded it out for the colorful ones, changed the glassware to a tortoise tumbler and gave the table a totally different feel:

I love the warmth of the wood tone and the classic look. They have solid stainless options as well so something for everyone!
Thanks to the generous folks at ANNOVA for collaborating with me and sharing their wonderful flatware. And it isn't just flatware - you can visit their website to see all of their products!
